MALE PELVIS FROM A TO Z

Learning Objectives: Understand MRI protocols dedicated to the evaluation of the male pelvis, including the prostate, bladder, urethra, penis, and scrotum. Identify normal findings, anatomical variants, and malformations of the male pelvis relevant to clinical practice. Recognize inflammatory and infectious patterns, differentiating them from neoplasms and other mimickers. Evaluate pathologies of the urethra, penis, and scrotum, including oncologic and non-oncologic presentations. Interpret incidental non-urological findings in the male pelvis and understand their clinical impact. Apply structured interpretation and classification criteria, with emphasis on PI-RADS and its main pitfalls. Correlate imaging protocols and findings with clinical decision-making in healthcare settings. Course Description: This course provides a practical and integrated approach to imaging evaluation of the male pelvis with a focus on MRI. Key protocols for the prostate, bladder, urethra, penis, and scrotum will be reviewed, along with fundamental topics such as malformations, inflammatory processes, mimickers, and both oncologic and non-oncologic presentations. The content includes discussion of incidental findings, an in-depth review of the seminal vesicles, and updates on structured interpretation using PI-RADS, including tips and common pitfalls. Identify detection and staging features of upper urinary tract and bladder urothelial tumors, using standardized systems such as VI-RADS. Recognize the accuracy, challenges, and limitations of VI-RADS, including pitfalls and less common histological subtypes. Apply classifications such as nacVI-RADS and post-TUR VI-RADS in practical clinical scenarios. Differentiate imaging patterns of atypical and aggressive histologies, understanding their implications for management. Analyze rare and challenging cases, integrating imaging-based reasoning in complex clinical situations. Identify gaps in current guidelines and discuss the expanding role of imaging in the diagnosis and follow-up of urothelial lesions. Explore new applications and technological advances in urothelial imaging, with a focus on clinical utility. PRACTICAL BREAST MRI: HOW DO I DO IT?

Learning Objectives: The objective of this course is to share strategies already used by leading professionals in breast imaging radiology that make magnetic resonance imaging easier and faster to perform, and that improve the effectiveness of reporting. These strategies facilitate the incorporation of breast MRI into the daily routine of MRI services. Course Description: The course is composed of pre-recorded theoretical lectures delivered by national and international faculty, covering topics such as technological innovations in MRI acquisition, practical reporting tips, and new developments in breast MRI diagnosis. In the practical component, nationally recognized experts will discuss everyday situations, including artifact correction, protocol optimization and report time reduction, tips for MRI-guided procedures, how to resolve doubtful cases at the time of reporting, and correlation between imaging methods and pathology.

Examples include academic writing, extraction and structuring of data from tables, basic data analysis, and studying or learning new topics. Course Description / Content Overview: AI tools based on large language models (LLMs) have the potential to transform problem-solving in everyday medical practice. Using real-world examples, strategies, and hands-on exercises for daily use, Drs. Bruno and Igor will address the following topics in this session: Key Topics: The LLM landscape (different ChatGPT models, zero-shot vs. few-shot prompting, RAG, and agents). Practical tips on using AI for high-quality and ethical text production and academic writing. Practical strategies for studying new topics more efficiently.
